IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The foreign language exam consists of a written and an oral part – both must be taken within the same session. Failure to attend either part results in the status ‘NIEOBECNY’ being recorded for the entire exam.
If an absence is justified within 7 days of the exam date, students are entitled to an additional exam date. This must take place no later than two weeks after the start of the new semester. The relevant justification document should be submitted to the CLC Heads of Sections via email or in paper form to the Student Secretary’s Office (room A3.321).
It is impossible to improve a passing grade or retake the exam solely because the ACERT certificate was not awarded.
Students with special educational needs may also apply for the ACERT certificate. A note on the scope of the exam will be included in the certificate supplement.
The ACERT certificate has no expiry date. It is up to the institution requesting proof of language proficiency to decide how long it recognises the certificate.
