Orientation Week

Between February 23 and 25, 2026, the Centre for Languages and Communication once again organized Orientation Week. It is a traditional event addressed to international students of Erasmus+ and Erasmus Exchange Programmes who come to study at Poznan University of Technology.

During Orientation Week students participated in various lectures, multimedia presentations, workshops and quizzes. They had an opportunity to become familiar with Polish geography and history, Polish customs and traditions and the language.
Students also took part in guided tours around Poznan. They visited  the Parish Church in  the Old Town, the Old Market Square and the Town Hall, the Museum of History of the City of Poznan and the Museum of Applied Arts in the Royal Castle at the Przemysl Hill, Imperial Castle, the Opera House and Adam Mickiewicz University buildings. The events were highlighted by a coffee break and a tasting of St. Martin’s croissants at one of the outdoor cafés in the Old Market Square, all bathed in sunshine.
Thanks to interesting presentations, friendly atmosphere and beautiful weather everyone had a great time and Orientation Week turned out to be successful once again.

The programme of lectures, workshops and trips was prepared and conducted by the Polish language team from the Centre of Languages and Communication: Justyna Połomka, M.A., Małgorzata Konopko, M.A. and Barbara Tarko M.A.
