IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The foreign language exam has a written and an oral component. Both must be taken in the same exam session. Missing either component will result in ‘NIEOBECNY’ (absent) being recorded for the entire exam.
Students who provide acceptable evidence of the reason for their absence within 7 days of the scheduled exam are entitled to an additional exam sitting. This must take place no later than two weeks after the start of the new semester. Submit the supporting documentation to the CLC Heads of Section or the Student Office (room A3.321), either by email or in hard copy.
Students may not retake an exam they have passed, either to improve their grade or to obtain an ACERT certificate.
Students with additional needs may also apply for an ACERT certificate. The certificate supplement will state the scope of the exam.
The ACERT certificate has no expiry date. Each institution requiring proof of language proficiency decides how long it will recognise the certificate.
