The CLC Discussion Club is resuming its meetings in the academic year 2025/2026 and we are inviting you to participate! This year the Club meetings will be co-hosted by our visiting English Teaching Assistant Fulbright Grantee, Camden Schmidt, B.Sc., and we are looking forward to having you in our meetings again.
In the winter semester, the meetings will be taking place on Tuesdays, 4:50pm – 6:20pm, room A3.315, twice a month.
The topics, as always, will focus on a variety of areas, including society, culture, and politics of the English-speaking world – but not only. We also want to include discussions on current matters and events that are important to you! It’s a great opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas while also practicing your English.
The topic of the first meeting on 21 October, is “America after Charlie Kirk”.
The next planned meetings this semester are: 4 November, 18 November, 2 December, 16 December, 13 January, 27 January.
